That’s why we’ve created a clear and fair Returns & Exchanges policy to ensure your complete satisfaction, just as we protect your data and privacy.
Our policy is designed with our global community of Style Chameleons, Beauty DIYers, and Professional Stylists in mind. Please read the following information carefully to understand how our process works.
1. Our Return & Exchange Promise
We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of the delivery date. To be eligible, the item must be:
- In its original, unused, and unopened condition.
- In the original packaging with all tags, seals, and protective covers intact.
- Accompanied by the original packing slip or order confirmation.
Important Note: For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following product categories are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Contact Lenses (all types)
- Face Makeup products (e.g., foundation, concealer, lipstick)
- Eye Makeup products (e.g., mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow)
- Face category items that are opened or used (e.g., skincare applicators)
- Colouring Tools that have been used or opened
- Any Hair Care or Hair Colouring product with a broken seal
- Cutting Tools for safety reasons once packaging is opened
This policy aligns with industry standards to protect all members of our beauty community.
2. Step-by-Step Return/Exchange Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Request
Within 15 days of delivery, contact our customer support team at [email protected] with your request. Please use the subject line: “Return/Exchange Request: Order #[Your Order Number]”.
You can use the template below to ensure you provide all necessary information.
Step 2: Receive Instructions & RMA Number
Our support team will review your request within 1-2 business days and, if approved, email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed return shipping instructions. Do not ship items back without an RMA number.
Step 3: Package and Ship
Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, include the packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation, and clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the box. Ship the package to the address provided in your instructions.
Please Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Step 4: Inspection & Processing
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item(s) to ensure they meet our return conditions. This process typically takes 3-5 business days after arrival at our warehouse.
3. Refunds & Store Credit
Refunds to Original Payment Method
- Timing: Once your return is approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.
- Method: The refund will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Deductions: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. For exchanges, we will cover the standard shipping cost for the replacement item.
Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your bank or credit card statement, depending on your financial institution’s policies.
Store Credit
If you prefer, you can opt for store credit issued to your Clore Beauty Store account. This credit is typically processed within 24 hours of return approval and never expires, giving you flexibility for your next beauty purchase.
4. Exchanges
To exchange an item for a different product, please follow the standard return process outlined above and indicate your desired exchange item in your request.
Once the return is received and inspected, we will ship the new item to you. If the exchange item is of higher value, you will be charged the difference. If it is of lower value, you will receive store credit for the difference.
Shipping for the replacement item will be charged at our standard rates, unless the exchange is due to an error on our part.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a prepaid return label for you and expedite a replacement or refund at no extra cost. Please include photos of the damaged/incorrect item and its packaging in your email.
